I have tried to be as clear and concise as possible in the information that is presented here. This new site goes in to far more detail than the old gettingatattoo.com but I've tried to keep the same style in writing and presentation.

gettingatattoo.com came about because I'd finally decided to bite the bullet and get a tattoo. I immediately hit the search engines and started looking for useful information. And there is plenty on the 'net. Sadly, there's also a lot of useless, contradictory nonsense. I took my time and found out everything I could before I went ahead and got my tattoo. The original site evolved from that process and this brand new site is the next stage in that evolution.

Getting inked can be a wonderful experience that leaves you more proud of your tattoo and yourself than you could ever imagine. It can also be a terrible experience that leaves you wishing you'd never bothered. Getting A Tattoo is here to help to ensure that when you get a tattoo you feel great not gutted.
